Jesus is both God and Man.

Along with being human, Jesus is also divine. The Gospels and the other books of the New Testament clearly teach the divinity of Jesus. Jesus' entire life and actions were foretold in prophesies previously made in the bible. These prophecies include being betrayed (Ps 41:10), being sold for thirty pieces of silver (Zec 11:12-13), having to suffer for our sins (Is 50:6), and having his hands and feet pierced (Ps 22:17). The fulfillment of these prophesies not only reveal to us who Jesus really is, but they also showed us that Jesus truly is divine.
Not only did Jesus fulfill prophesies, but he was also given titles and names that proved his divinity. Throughout the Gospels and prophecies about Jesus, the titles "Son of Man" and "Suffering Servant" are used quite frequently. Jesus even proclaimed the title "Messiah" for himself when reading a scroll in the synagogue. All these titles show that Jesus truly is divine.

Miracles

One of the most effective pieces of evidence demonstrating Jesus' divinity are the miracles that he performed. These miracles were extraordinary, observable events that cannot be explained by human knowledge. The four different types of miracles that Jesus performed were physical healing, nature miracles, exorcisms, and raising people from the dead. And of course, the greatest miracle of all was the Resurrection of Jesus himself!
Not only could Jesus perform amazing miracles, but he could also forgive sins. He demonstrated this when healing a paralytic in Capernaum. After healing him, Jesus cleansed his sins. This shows that Jesus is not only capable of healing the body, but he can also heal the soul.
As we know, only God can forgive sins. This led Jesus to be accused of blasphemy and sentenced to death.
